| If you don’t read and strictly follow these Terms and Conditions, your submission is guaranteed to be declined.
We do only minor edits; it is up to you to correctly submit your site. No submission is guaranteed, it will be reviewed and accepted if it meets our submission guidelines. To include your Business or Service site in Osirisnet Web Directory, first, go to the topic best suited for your Business or Service. Terms and conditions Your submission to Osirisnet Web Directory consists of five areas of review. 1. Title 2. Description 3. URL 4. Website quality and content 5. Topic of submission 6. Keywords 1. Title: The title should consist of the correct and full business or service name; for example: John Brown Web Design, Inc. NOT something like John Brown Web Design – A Great Place to Take a Leak Promotional or slogan text in a title is not acceptable. 2. Description: Your description should be OBJECTIVE and not promotional in any way. Never repeat the title in the description or end the description in and more; for example: Complete radiator and cooling system maintenance and repairs. Features services offered, site locator and cooling system maintenance tips. A description in general should express what your business or service offers, what the website contains and where when applicable. An unacceptable description would be a promotional one like this: The best place to take a leak in the greater Los Angeles area. Free pressure testing by our expert hands on specialist. Check your spelling and don’t forget the punctuation! Brackets (are not acceptable) and never use exclamatory punctuation. Keep your description brief but to the point. Several complete sentences are normally acceptable. Keyword stuffing is never allowed. 3. URL: Always use the full and complete URL including the www. Sub domains will not be accepted if the sub domain is readily and easily reached from the main page. Always double check your URL; you would be amazed how many people make typos in their URL. 4. Website quality and content: Never be in a rush to submit your website. You will not be accepted if you are under construction. Be sure all your graphics and links work well and your site loads reasonably fast. We will not accept submissions the reviewing editor considers of poor quality. 5. Topic of submission: Be sure you have submitted to the correct topic. Look at other sites in the topic and be sure they are the same business or service as your website. 6. Keywords: Repeat the title and add the most common terms used to search for your website. Use only a comma between terms, do not repeat them and keep them relevant to your website. Submissions with keywords not relevant to your website will be declined. We will not accept these types of submissions: Sites Advocating Violence. Adult sites and sites that link to them. Submissions with more than one popup or load behind per page or links to sites exceeding these specifications. Gambling Sites of any kind. Drug sales sites. Actual or fraternal mirrors of other sites. Spyware/Adware or sites that link to it. Sub domains that can be readily and easily reached from a main page. Sites that promote illegal activity of any kind. Sites considered of poor quality by the reviewing editor. Redirected sites. Sites that redirect to a URL not within the submitted domain. |
